Xiaomi has unveiled its latest air conditioner in the Chinese market, the Mijia Air Conditioner Pro 1.5 HP. This wall-mounted unit boasts impressive energy efficiency, rapid cooling and heating, whisper-quiet operation, and smart features for a comfortable and healthy home environment.

This wall-mounted unit boasts a claimed APF (Annual Performance Factor) of 5.65, translating to estimated annual energy savings of 361 kWh compared to the national standard three-level energy efficiency model.
The air conditioner features rapid cooling and heating, taking only 30 seconds to cool a room and 60 seconds to heat it. It also boasts anti-sudden cooling technology for a more comfortable user experience. Xiaomi claims the operating noise level is as low as 18 decibels, making it a quiet option for bedrooms.
This air conditioner is designed to handle extreme temperatures, functioning in heating mode down to -35°C and cooling mode up to 65°C.
Xiaomi touts the Mijia Air Conditioner Pro’s intelligent features. It comes with Lingyun Smart Control Engine which is designed to precisely regulate temperature and optimize energy use using cloud-based deep learning algorithms. It also supports full-link OTA updates for future improvements.
The air conditioner features a new generation 8-pole 12-slot compressor for lower noise and a longer lifespan. It also has a dual-row condenser for increased heat exchange and a conical distributor for enhanced heating.
Xiaomi emphasizes the air conditioner’s health features. It boasts a 99.9% sterilization rate and self-cleaning functions for both the indoor and outdoor units. The indoor unit utilizes high-temperature drying technology to remove dust after a multi-stage cleaning process. The outdoor unit features condensate cleaning to remove dust from the heat exchanger and 56°C high-temperature sterilization for antibacterial and anti-mildew purposes.
The AC has indoor unit dimensions of 840×311×200 mm and outdoor unit dimensions of 860×551×331 mm. The air conditioner also boasts a sleek and stylish design that won a Red Dot Design Award.
It features a weather-resistant matte panel for durability and a circular LED display screen that shows the air conditioner’s settings and temperature. Additionally, it includes a built-in photosensitive sensor for intelligent brightness adjustment to create a comfortable sleep environment. It comes in white and can be controlled via the Mi Home app, remote control, Xiaomi HyperOS Smart Connect, or voice commands.
