Xiaomi has officially launched its new Xiaomi TV S85 featuring a Mini-LED panel. The 85-inch 4K TV boasts a 144Hz refresh rate and is priced at 7,999 yuan (approximately $1215 USD). A coupon reduces the price to 5,999 yuan ($908 USD) or 6,199 yuan ($943 USD) with a rack set. The TV was previously unveiled as a pre-sale offer as well, check out the details here.

The Xiaomi TV S85 features a Mini-LED panel with 640 partitions and a maximum brightness of 1,200 nits. It also supports Xiaomi Qingshan eye protection technology, a 12 million:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut for vivid and accurate colors.
The TV comes equipped with a four-unit speaker system, a quad-core A73 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, 2 HDMI 2.1 ports, 1 HDMI 2.0 port, 1 USB-A 3.0 port, 1 USB-A 2.0 port, and an AV interface. The TV seems like a great choice for those who want a blend of entertainment and a gaming-ready TV, since the higher refresh rate will make a huge difference with the latest consoles plugged in.
