MSI has announced a new high-end 4K gaming monitor called MAG 274URFW in the Chinese market. The monitor is priced at 2499 Yuan (around $345) and it is now available for pre-order on JD.com. The monitor will officially go on sale at midnight on April 14th. Let’s check out its key specs.

The MAG 274URFW boasts a 27-inch 4K Rapid IPS panel with 3840 x 2160 pixels, offering sharp and detailed visuals for gaming, content creation, and entertainment. The display features a 160Hz refresh rate and 0.5ms GtG (gray-to-gray) response time that ensures smooth gameplay free of motion blur, minimizing ghosting and trailing effects, ideal for fast-paced titles.
In terms of color accuracy, the monitor sports a 1000:1 contrast ratio and covers 98% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and 93% of the Adobe RGB color gamut, making it suitable for professional use in fields like design and editing. Additionally, the monitor is VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified, ensuring a wider dynamic range with more vivid colors and deeper blacks for a more immersive viewing experience.
The monitor comes equipped with AMD FreeSync Premium technology to eliminate screen tearing and stuttering for a smooth gaming experience. Additionally, it comes with some gamer-centric features like a built-in reticle for easier target acquisition and AI-powered Dark Area Boost to enhance visibility in shadowy in-game environments. The MAG 274URFW boasts a sleek, white design with an anti-glare matte finish that complements modern setups.
