Xiaomi has been gradually releasing its newest skin update, HyperOS, to its smartphones. The Redmi K40 and K40 Pro Plus are the latest models to receive this update.

As reported by ITHome, Xiaomi has begun the rollout of the HyperOS update based on Android 14 for the K40 and K40 Pro Plus in China. It seems to be an internal testing version, likely a beta. So it will take some time for the stable version to be available to everyone.
