Redmi is planning to bring its Redmi Pad Pro, which was first launched in China, to the global market. The tablet is currently available for pre-order in China and will be officially released on April 15. Now, there’s news that it might be available worldwide soon.

This information comes from a recent listing on the Google Play Console (via TheTechOutlook). The listing shows two model numbers for the tablet: “2405CRPFDL” for Latin America and “2405CRPFDG” for the rest of the world. This suggests that Redmi is preparing to debut the tablet in many countries.

According to the listing, the Redmi Pad Pro will have the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor and Adreno 7series graphics. It’s expected to have a screen resolution of 1600×2560, a screen density of 320 DPI, at least 8GB of RAM, and will run Android 14, possibly with HyperOS version 1.0, just like the version sold in China. The listing does not reveal any further details, however, we expect them to be similar to the Redmi Pad Pro global model.

The Redmi Pad Pro has a 12.1-inch LCD display with a 2.5K resolution and a 120Hz variable refresh rate. The screen reaches a peak brightness of 600 nits and holds TUV Rheinland certification. It is Dolby Vision compatible and supports a stylus pen that can magnetically attach to the device. The tablet features an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front camera.

Audio features include quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support and dual microphones. Inside, the device runs on a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It is powered by a 10,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The tablet operates on HyperOS-based Android 14 and provides connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

In related news, a 5G variant of the Redmi Pad Pro is also in the works and could soon launch in China as well as the global market.
