The brand may likely unveil the Edge 50 Ultra, a flagship phone, through the upcoming global launch event. A teaser released by the brand gives a first look at the design of the alleged phone.

In the above X post, Motorola teases an upcoming smartphone in Peach Fuzz colour. For those who don’t know, Peach Fuzz is Pantone’s color of the year for 2024. A closer look at the device suggests that its design matches the recently leaked renders of the upcoming Motorola Edge 50 Ultra. However, the brand has not specified the device’s name.

Therefore, it appears that the teaser gives the first look at the design of the Edge 50 Ultra. The teaser also reveals the internal components of the phone. It confirms that the device will feature a metal middle frame, providing a more durable construction than previously.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra rumors have revealed that it will feature a 6.7-inch OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it will have the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. The device will run on Android 14 with a layer of the Hello UI on top.

The Edge 50 Ultra will pack a 4,500mAh battery with 125W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support. On the front, it will have a 50-megapixel front camera, and its back panel will have three 50-megapixel cameras, comprising a main camera, an ultra-wide lens, and a periscope telephoto camera. For security, it will have an in-screen fingerprint scanner. Lastly, the device will have an IP68-rated chassis.
