Last month, Samsung launched its Galaxy A55 and A35 smartphones in many regions around the globe including Europe. Just a month after their launch, these devices have already seen their first permanent price reductions.
Samsung Galaxy A55 & A35 reduced prices:
The Galaxy A55 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model now costs €400, down from its launch price of €479. The 258GB storage variant now goes for €460, down from its launch price of €529.
Similarly, the Galaxy A35, which launched with a €379 starting price tag (for 6GB RAM + 128GB storage config) is now down to €300, while the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model now goes for around €385.
Samsung Galaxy A55 specs:
The Galaxy A55 features an Exynos 1490 SoC, while an Exynos 1380 processor powers the Galaxy A35. Both devices have a 5,000mAh battery supporting 25W wired fast charging, and they run One UI 6.1 based on Android 14.
Samsung includes its proprietary Samsung Knox Vault for security, a first for the Galaxy A series. The phones also come with Dolby stereo speakers and AI enhancements for photography.
The Galaxy A55 sports a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 5-megapixel macro camera, along with a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. The Galaxy A35 features a 50-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 5-megapixel macro camera, plus a 13-megapixel front camera.
