Boult, known in India for its wearable tech, is now stepping into the home entertainment arena with two soundbars, the Bassbox X180 and X120. This is a new direction for Boult, moving beyond wearables to offer products that improve home audio experiences.
The Bassbox X180 and X120 are equipped with a 2.1-channel configuration, each with a wired subwoofer designed to enrich audio output with deep bass. A key feature of these soundbars is the incorporation of a dedicated DSP chip, which allows for real-time audio upscaling and ensures the delivery of authentic sound. Additionally, both models are capable of 3D sound staging and offer three EQ modes tailored for different types of content: Movie, Music, and News.
Connectivity is a strong point for these soundbars, as they come with Bluetooth 5.3, AUX, USB, Optical, RCA, and HDMI (ARC) inputs. The soundbars differ in power output, with the X180 model providing 180W RMS and the X120 offering 120W RMS.
Pricing & availability
These soundbars will be available on Flipkart starting April 26. The X180 will be sold at a launch price of Rs. 5,999 and the X120 at Rs. 4,999. Boult is also offering special deals for early buyers, including a chance to buy a Samsung 4K Vision Pro smart TV at a significantly reduced price of Rs. 1 for the first buyer, and every 15th buyer will have the opportunity to get a Boult Crown smartwatch at a nominal price of Rs. 1.
