Gigabyte has recently launched its new Aorus CO49DQ gaming monitor in India. This monitor features a 49-inch curved screen with a high resolution of 5120 x 1440, aiming to provide an immersive viewing experience for both gamers and professionals.
Gigabyte Aorus CO49DQ monitor specs and features
The Aorus CO49DQ supports a 144Hz refresh rate and a fast 0.03ms response time, which makes it great for fast-paced games. It also comes with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro to help eliminate screen tearing during gaming. The monitor provides excellent color quality with a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio and covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color space, making it suitable for tasks that require precise color detail.
One of the special features of this monitor is the “OLED Care” technology, which uses AI to try to prevent screen burn-in, though its effectiveness is still to be tested independently. It’s also built for multitasking, with capabilities like Picture-in-Picture (PiP) and Picture-By-Picture (PbP), which allow users to work on different tasks simultaneously on the same screen.
Connectivity options include HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and USB Type-C, alongside ergonomic features like tilt and swivel adjustments. However, it doesn’t offer height or pivot adjustments. The monitor also has built-in speakers and a KVM switch for easily switching between devices.
Pricing & availability
The Aorus CO49DQ is priced at Rs. 1,29,000 and will be available starting April 31st, 2024, at online stores and authorized Gigabyte dealerships in India. Gigabyte provides a three-year warranty that includes coverage for panel burn-in, promising quality and durability.
