Vivo Y18e, a new entry-level smartphone, has debuted in India. In February, the Vivo Y18 bearing V2333 and V2345 model numbers and the Vivo Y18e identified with the V2350 model code were approved by the Bluetooth SIG authority. While there is no clarity on when the Y18 will go official, the Y18e has already gone official in the Indian market. Here is a look at the specifications and features of the device.

The Y18e is a polycarbonate-bodied smartphone measuring 163.63 x 75.85 x 8.39mm and weighing 185 grams. The device is fitted with a 6.56-inch LCD screen with an HD+ resolution of 1612 x 720 and supports up to a 90Hz refresh rate.

For selfies, the Y18e’s display cutout houses a 5-megapixel selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.2. The rear setup comprises a 13-megapixel primary lens with an f/2.2 aperture and a 0.08-megapixel secondary lens with an f/3.0 aperture, accompanied by a rear flash.

Under the hood, the Y18e features the Helio G85 processor and operates on the FunTouch OS 14, based on Android 14. The SoC is paired with 4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64 GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. The device supports up to 4 GB of virtual RAM and offers a microSD card slot for additional storage.

The Vivo Y18e is fuelled by a 5,000mAh battery, supporting 15W charging via USB 2.0. When it comes to connectivity, it supports dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, FM radio, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Lastly, it come with an IP54-rated dustproof and water-resistant body.

Vivo Y18e price and availability

The Vivo Y18e is listed on Vivo India’s website. However, the brand has not confirmed the price of the device. In terms of color options, the Y18e will be available in options, such as Gem Green and Space Black.
