OnePlus has been steadily rolling out the OxygenOS 14.0.0.600 update for all of its eligible devices. The update has now reached the OnePlus 9R, offering several new features aimed at improving the user experience.
The update comes with the April 2024 Android security patch, along with features like the ability to perform a fuzzy search from the Home screen search bar in Drawer mode.
This update also makes it possible to activate the torch by pressing and holding the volume down button when the screen is turned off. Users can now adjust the volume for individual apps based on their needs.
The design of the volume bar has also been improved for visual consistency. The update also adds the ability to use the fingerprint unlock without waking up the screen. Lastly, the update improves the overall system stability.
The update is currently only available for Indian users. If you haven’t received the OTA update notification, you can manually check by navigating to Settings > About Device > OxygenOS > Check for Update.
