Huawei has unveiled a pair of mid-range TWS earbuds, the FreeBuds 6i. The new Huawei offering comes with quad magnet drivers and supports Hi-Res Audio output. The FreeBuds 6i is among a raft of new products just released by the Chinese company. Some of the new Huawei products just released for the global market include the Watch GT 4, the MateBook X Pro 2024, and the FreeClip open earbuds. Huawei has continued on an upward trajectory as it continues to ramp up its effort to regain its global leadership position in the tech market.

FreeBuds 6i TWS earbuds

Features

The Huawei FreeBuds 6i has some similarities with its predecessor, the FreeBuds 5i. It however comes with several improvements from its predecessor to deliver a more excellent user experience. The new model features larger 11mm dynamic drivers than the FreeBuds 5i. Moreover, the new drivers support quad magnet technology which is a first for the series. The TWS earbuds integrate triple adaptive equalization and Hi-Res Audio Wireless capability.

FreeBuds 6i TWS earbuds

The Huawei FreeBuds 6i boasts of up to 35 hours of battery life with its included charging case. The model features intelligent Dynamic Active Noise Cancellation 3.0 and this significantly reduces battery life when active. The stated battery life of the earbuds is therefore with the noise cancellation mode not activated. The FreeBuds 6i earbuds also come with some of the features of the more expensive Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3. The new earbuds will be available in several color options, according to Huawei.

Pricing & Availability

There is no pricing information yet for the Huawei FreeBuds 6i TWS earbuds. These details will be released later. To put it in perspective, the Huawei FreeBuds 5i is currently selling on Amazon for $105. It is therefore expected that the price of the FreeBuds 6i will be higher than that of its predecessor. Additionally, Huawei has not provided any global availability information for the new wireless earbuds at this time.
