Oppo is expected to be working on its next-gen tablet, the Pad 3. It has been the subject of rumors every once in a while, and the latest one from tipster Digital Chat Station reveals key specifications of the device.

The tipster says the tablet will have an LCD screen measuring above 12-inches and will have a 3K resolution. There’s also mention of a higher refresh rate, which could likely be 144Hz.

Moreover, the Pad 3 will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 at the helm, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. But the tipster notes that the base variant of the tablet will have 8GB memory. All this will be powered by a sizeable 9510mAh battery which will support 67W charging.

A previous report of the Oppo Pad 3 revealed that it will feature a metal uni-body design. These leaked details suggest that the Oppo Pad 3 will have some notable upgrades over the Pad 2.

For comparison, the Oppo Pad 2 features an 11.61-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 2800 x 2000 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate. The Pad 3 is speculated to increase the display size to 12 inches and resolution to 3K.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip will also be a major improvement over the Dimensity 9000 chip in the Pad 2. Additionally, while the Pad 2 maxes out at 12GB of memory, rumors suggest that the Pad 3 could increase it to 16 GB.

While the extra RAM might seem like too much for some, it may come in handy for folks with busy schedules and demanding tasks.

Apart from this, the leak doesn’t delve into any other details. Rest assured, we’ll make sure to keep you informed about any new information regarding the Oppo Pad 3 as they emerge.
