HyperOS update for the POCO X4 GT has finally started rolling out. POCO‘s an upper mid-range smartphone, POCO X4 GT has received the HyperOS update recently. POCO X4 GT is essentially a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11T Pro and Redmi K50i. While it features the Dimensity 8100 chipset and is released 2 years ago, it still holds up well today.
POCO X4 GT receives HyperOS update
POCO X4 GT has received the HyperOS update with version OS.1.0.1.0ULOMIXM. This 5.3 GB update brings the smartphone from the MIUI 14 to Android 14-based HyperOS. The version number actually reveals where the update is released. It’s clear that this update is currently rolling out in the “Global” region.

If you don’t see the update for your POCO X4 GT when you check the software updater in settings, give it some time for the update to be completely released. Xiaomi typically doesn’t release updates simultaneously for all users. It may take a while to appear on your device.
Note that the POCO X4 GT was launched in 2022 and came with Android 12 out of the box. With this newly released update, the phone has been upgraded to Android 14. This will be the last Android update the POCO X4 GT receives, it will not be getting the Android 15 update.
