Vivo has officially started teasing the arrival of its first foldable phone in India. The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will compete against the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and OnePlus Open in the country. Ahead of the official launch event, the brand has put up a microsite of the upcoming offering revealing some key details. We have spotted the launch date of the foldable smartphone on the microsite’s disclaimer section. Additionally, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is confirmed to be available from Flipkart.
Vivo X Fold 3 Pro India launch date accidentally revealed

Scrolling down to the disclaimer section of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro reads ‘as of its launch date until June 6, 2024’. This suggests that the foldable phone may debut on June 6 in the country. Vivo could also officially reveal the same in the coming days.
The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is said to be the first foldable phone in various aspects in India. It is touted to be the slimmest and lightweight measuring 11.2mm thick when folded and weighing 236 grams. The upcoming offering will also have the biggest display with an 8.03-inch internal screen in the country. It will bag the title of brightest display in a foldable phone with a 4,500 nits peak brightness level. Lastly, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is confirmed to be India’s first Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered foldable phone.
The microsite also reveals that the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will come with ZEISS-branded triple rear cameras comprising of two sensors and a periscope lens with 10x zoom and also ZEISS multifocal portrait that allows shooting across various focal lengths. The carbon fibre hinge is rated to last 500,000 folds and for 12 years. Vivo has also confirmed that the X Fold 3 Pro will also come with Gemini AI along with features like AI note assist, AI transcript assist, and AI screen translation.
