Following the release of the Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro in late 2023, iQOO has now announced the Neo 9S Pro, a mid-year refresh to their lineup featuring the recently announced MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset. In this article, we will walk you through the specs, features, and price of the Neo9S Pro.
iQOO Neo 9s Pro Specifications
The key difference between the Neo 9S Pro and its predecessors is the chipset. While the original Neo 9 Pro sported the Dimensity 9300, the 9s Pro takes advantage of the improved Dimensity 9300+.
The new SoC has boosted CPU and APU for enhanced performance, while the GPU remains unchanged. Furthermore, the phone has iQOO’s self-developed e-sports chip, the Q1 for an improved gaming experience. To manage thermals during intense gaming sessions, the phone utilizes a 6K VC liquid cooling system.
Memory options for the Neo9S Pro include up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage for users seeking ample storage space.
Moving on, the display remains consistent with the previous Neo 9 Pro models. That is, you get a 6.78-inch 144Hz LTPO OLED panel with a 1260 x 2800px resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio.
The panel has high-frequency PWM dimming at 2,160Hz to minimize flicker. The front-facing camera remains a 16MP module housed within a punch-hole cutout.
On the back, the Neo 9S Pro adopts a dual-camera setup. The primary sensor is a 50MP Sony IMX920 sensor and there is another 50MP lens for ultrawide shots.
The Neo 9S Pro retains the 5,160mAh battery from its predecessor, complemented by 120W fast charging, although the device lacks wireless charging support.
iQOO has also partnered with the NBA for the launch of the Neo 9S Pro. The collaboration allows buyers a chance to win tickets to the NBA finals through participating retailers.

The Neo 9S Pro is now available for sale in China with a limited-time discount on each variant. Here’s a breakdown of the pricing including discounts:

- 12GB+512GB: 2,999 yuan
- 16GB+512GB: 3,299 yuan
- 16GB+1TB: 3,699 yuan
Currently, there’s no official confirmation regarding a global launch for the Neo9S Pro.
