ASUS subsidiary AAEON Technology has unveiled the TGU8-EZBOX mini host. The new ASUS AAEON mini PC is powered by the 11th generation Core processor such as the Core i3-1115G4E, i5-1145G7E, and Core i7-1185G7E. The new ASUS AAEON mini host is from the de next series of mini PCs.

The de next form factor of products has enjoyed significant success in recent times and the new mini host is coming with similar high expectations. The de next TGU8-EZBOX is the world’s smallest edge PC with an embedded Intel Core processor. It offers fanless heat dissipation, low noise operation, and protection from dust. The model can be utilized by practitioners in the digital signage and industrial markets.
The AAEON TGU8-EZBOX mini PC is suitable for edge computing, IoT gateways, and several other scenarios. The mini host is built based on the SBC single board computer with a passive radiator with dimensions of 95.5mm x 69.5mm x 42.5mm. The size of the active radiator of the mini host is 95.5mm x 69.5mm x 45.4mm. The mini PC has a RAM capacity of 16GB (LPDDR4x 3733) and offers both active and passive cooling for the Core i3 version. Only active cooling is supported for the Core i5 and Core i7 variants of the mini host.

The ASUS AAEON TGU8-EZBOX mini host has an M.2.2280 solid-state drive slot, a 2.5G network port, two USB-A ports with 10Gbps speed, and an HDMI 1.4b interface. The TGU8-EZBOX mini host is compatible with several operating systems including Windows 10 and Ubuntu 20.04.4 for easy integration into existing IT infrastructure.
