AYANEO is giving the AYANEO 2S and AYANEO KUN handheld consoles a performance boost with the AMD Ryzen 7 8840U processor upgrade. This announcement follows the recent reveal of the AYANEO AIR 1S.
The upgraded AYANEO AIR 1S will be available in three color options.
The new processor, codenamed “Hawk Point,” replaces the current “Phoenix” (Ryzen 7 7840U) chip found in the AYANEO AIR 1S/2S/KUN consoles. While retaining the 8-core Zen 4 CPU and 12CU RDNA 3 graphics core, the upgrade brings a significant leap in NPU performance – a remarkable 60% increase to 16 TOPS.
The upgraded AYANEO AIR 1S will be available in three color options: classic Aurora White and Ultra Night Black, along with a special AYANEO AIR 1S x Hundred Heroes limited edition model developed in collaboration with 505 Games. Specific details regarding the upgraded AYANEO 2S and KUN consoles are yet to be revealed by AYANEO.
Mark your calendars! Bookings for the upgraded AYANEO consoles with the Ryzen 7 8840U processor open on May 24th at 2:30 PM.
