HP EliteBook Ultra G1q specs and features:

This laptop comes in a “atmospheric blue” color, measures 14.22mm in thickness, and weighs only 1.349kg. The laptop packs a 14″ 2.2K (2240 x 1400) IPS touchscreen with an anti glare finish. It goes up to 300 nits, comes with 100% sRGB, and Low Blue Light certification. It is paired with a backlit full-size keyboard with HP Imagepad, that matches the color of the laptop.

Just like the OmniBook X, this laptop is also powered by the Snapdragon X Elite X1E-78-100 chipset. It equips 12-Qualcomm Oryon CPU cores that reaches up to 3.4GHz, an Adreno GPU (3.8 TFLOPS), and Qualcomm’s Hexagon NPU that powers AI features. The advantage of a power efficient chipset is that it enables manufactures to offer lightweight machines with less aggressive heat dissipation system.

With the AI capabilities, this laptop reportedly offers a background blur and a virtual background feature for video calls. It also offers temporal noise reduction for calls.

This is paired with a 16GB LPDDR5X-8400MHz soldered memory and 512GB or 1TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe TLC M.2 SSD.

There are four stereo speakers and dual microphones paired with Poly Studio support. For video calling you get a 5MP webcam.

It packs a 59 Whr battery and comes with a 65W Type-C fast charger.

For wired connectivity it offers the following ports:

  • 1 x USB Type-C (10Gbps)
  • 1 x USB Type-A 3.2 Gen1
  • 3.5mm audio port (headphone Mic two-in-one)

Pricing and availability:

The 512GB storage version of the EliteBook Ultra G1q is currently available for pre-order on the company’s website for $1699 (equivalent to 12,300 Yuan).
