Earlier this month, the OnePlus 12R received the OxygenOS 14.0.0.701 update that carried a bunch of new animations, new touch controls, some quality-of-life changes, and the April 2024 Android security patch. The company has now released the OxygenOS 14.0.0.800 update for the device with multiple bug fixes, including battery life optimization and the latest security patch.

- Fixes an issue where the volume from the speaker and Bluetooth earphones might be low.
- Fixes an issue that might cause the Home screen wallpaper to flicker after you close an app.
- Fixes a display issue where an app icon on the Home screen might move slightly from where it should be after closing the app.
The update is initially being rolled out to a limited number of devices in India, with a broader release expected soon. If you haven’t received the OTA update notification on your device, you can manually check for it by navigating to Settings > About Device > OxygenOS and tapping on Check for Update.
For users in India experiencing issues after the update, bug reports can be submitted through the Google Dialer by dialing *#800#.
