The Hisense U8NQ is a Mini LED ULED 4K TV with 65-inch and 75-inch options. Both options come with the solar charging remote control and the model is an improvement from the Hisense U7NQ. The U8NQ is brighter and comes with a lower input lag that is suitable for gaming applications. The TV utilizes Mini LED Pro technology with full array local dimming and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. In comparison, the U7NQ has a maximum brightness of 1,500 nits, so it is seen that the new model achieves significantly higher brightness than its predecessor.

The model supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision IQ, and HLG. It also features a Hi-View Engine Pro that delivers 4K upscaling. It has a naïve refresh rate of 120Hz as well as a variable refresh rate (VRR) of 144Hz. The VRR is triggered when you enter the Game Mode Pro. The Hisense Mini LED TV also features AMD Freesync Premium Pro and a 9.7ms input lag. The TV runs on the Vidaa OS unlike Google OS featured in the U8N. Customers can still access streaming apps like Netflix and YouTube, as well as control the TV with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa.

The Hisense U8NQ features the IMAX Enhanced and Filmmaker Modes and the solar-powered remote can be located via the Find My Remote tool. The U8NQ has a 2.1.2 channel 60W sound system which can be connected to a soundbar for enhanced output. The device has HDMI 2.1, USB-C 3.0, and S/PDIF ports for connectivity. You can also connect to the TV via Bluetooth or WiFi 6.

As for the price, the 65-inch model is priced at €1,999/ £1,799 while the 75-inch model retails for €2,699/ £2,299 in Europe.
