Xiaomi’s two affordable smartphones, Redmi 12 and Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G, are receiving the June 2024 security patch. This will make the devices more vulnerable to security vulnerabilities and will also significantly improve system stability. In addition to their stylish design, the Redmi 12 and Note 12 Pro 4G have also won the favor of users with their other features. Both smartphones are extremely popular in many countries.
HyperOS June Update
The Redmi 12 and another phone, the Note 12 Pro 4G, are now getting the June security patch with the latest HyperOS update. This update was first released for users with HyperOS Global ROM. This update’s build numbers are OS1.0.6.0.UMXMIXM for the Redmi 12 and OS1.0.5.0.THGMIXM for the 12 Pro 4G. The released HyperOS updates first started rolling out to HyperOS Pilot users. The update is expected to be available to all users in the future.


The sizes of the update are 177MB and 1.1GB respectively and include the latest June patch. It’s also worth noting that Xiaomi is working on fixing vulnerabilities in HyperOS and making sure the system runs as smoothly as possible. These two budget devices receiving the latest security patches is an indication that the Chinese brand cares a lot about its smartphones.
