Audio-Technica has introduced the ATH-S300BT wireless headphones, capable of up to 90 hours of playback. These headphones feature noise-canceling technology with settings for hear-through, active noise cancellation, and off, letting users control how much outside sound they hear.

The ATH-S300BT stands out for its long battery life. It lasts up to 90 hours on a full charge, and if the battery runs low, a quick 3-minute charge gives an additional 2.5 hours of playback.

The headphones are designed for comfort, with soft earpads and an ergonomic fit for long use. They come in beige and black, with a terrazzo-marbled pattern for a touch of style.

They use Bluetooth 5.1 for a reliable connection up to 33 feet away and can connect to two devices at once, which is convenient for switching between devices. They also support the SBC and AAC audio codecs, which help ensure good sound quality.

The ATH-S300BT has 40 mm drivers for clear sound and built-in MEMS microphones for clear calls, even in noisy places. A low-latency mode reduces audio delay, making these headphones better for gaming or watching videos. They work with Siri and Google Assistant and can be used with or without a wire, using the included 3.5mm cable that also has a mic for calls.

Pricing & availability

The ATH-S300BT will be available in beige and black starting in July, priced at $99 MSRP.

In related news, Jabra has discontinued its Elite line of TWS earbuds, but not before launching the second generation Elite 10 & Elite 8 Active earbuds. These earbuds specialize in providing an amazing spatial audio experience. However, the LE Audio smart case technology is the most unique thing about them.

This technology allows the case to act as a wireless audio transmitter. It can connect to devices without built-in Bluetooth, like airplane entertainment systems or gym equipment, using a 3.5mm jack or USB-C connector, and then transmit the audio to your earbuds via LE Audio.4o
