After much anticipation, Nikon has officially unveiled the Nikon Z6 III, its latest addition to the popular Z-mount mirrorless camera lineup. The Z6 III boasts a range of impressive upgrades over its predecessor, including a significantly faster autofocus system, high-resolution video recording capabilities, and a groundbreaking bright electronic viewfinder. Previously, Nikon teased this new camera and announced a release date of June 17. Now, the Z6 III is available at a price tag of $2499.

Nikon claims the Z6 III has 20% faster autofocus than its predecessor. The camera can shoot 4K videos at 120 FPS and 6K at 60 FPS. It supports 12-bit 6K N-RAW and ProRes RAW HQ, as well as 10-bit 5.4K ProRes 422 and H.265 recording. Another standout feature is its electronic viewfinder, which boasts a brightness of 4000 nits, making it the brightest EVF to date according to Nikon.

The camera is powered by the EXPEED 7 high-speed image-processing engine, which allows for Pre-Release Capture of up to 1 second before the shutter is fully pressed at a maximum speed of 120 FPS. It can also capture 24 MP images at 60 FPS, offering higher resolution than the Z9 and Z8.
Nikon Z6 III is currently listed on Amazon US but is currently out of stock. The official Nikon USA website lists the Z6 III at a price of $2,499. For more information about the camera, please visit Nikon USA‘s official website.
