On June 25, Motorola will hold a launch event in China to announce the Motorola Razr 50 series of flip-style foldable phones. The same event will see the arrival of the Motorola S50 Neo, a mid-range phone, which is likely to be rebranded as the Moto G85 in markets outside of China. The S50 Neo was recently certified by the TENAA authority, through which its key specifications were revealed. Now, the same device has received approval from the 3C certification platform in China. As usual, it gives a hint about the fast charging capabilities of the device.

The Motorola S50 Neo has appeared with model number XT2427-3 in 3C’s database. The certification reveals that the device may ship with a Motorola MC-338 charger that supports up to 33W fast charging. Here’s a look at the other specs of the device.

As per the TENAA certification, the Motorola S50 Neo will ship with a 6.6-inch OLED screen with curved edges. It will produce an FHD+ resolution and may support up to a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will have an in-screen fingerprint sensor for security. It may come preloaded with Android 14.

Under the hood, it will feature the next-generation Snapdragon 4 Gen 3 or Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset. It will be available with up to 18 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage in the Chinese market. It is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery.

For photography, the Motorola S50 Neo will have a 32-megapixel front-facing camera and a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual-camera system on the back. It will measure 161.9 x 73 x 7.5 mm and weigh 171 grams. It will be available in black, blue, and green options.
