Smartphones now feature backs made of polycarbonate, glass, leather, and ceramic. The shift from metal to these materials is due to various reasons, such as reduced signal interference, lower weight, improved heat dissipation, increased design flexibility, and better wireless charging compatibility, However, a new leak indicates that OnePlus is planning to launch a smartphone with a metal back, adding a touch of creativity. This phone appears to be the upcoming OnePlus Nord 4.

The schematic is identical to the real-life image of the OnePlus Nord 4 shared by tipster Sanju. The specifications mentioned by the tipster are an exact match with China’s Ace 3V. So, the Nord 4 could be a rebranded Ace 3V with a renewed back panel. We still need to see if the Nord 4 offers different specifications from its Chinese counterpart.
