On July 12, Honor will announce the Honor Magic V3 and Magic Vs3 foldable phones in China. While the brand has confirmed its design and color options, it is yet to disclose its key specifications. The brand previously confirmed that the Magic V3 will be thinner and lighter than its predecessor, the Magic V2 from last year. For those who don’t know, the V2 weighs around 231 grams and measures only 9.9mm in the folded state. New leaks that have emerged on Weibo reveal that the Magic V3 is thinner and lighter and packs a larger battery.

New leaks reveal that the Honor Magic V3 has a 5,200mAh battery, which is 200mAh larger than the Magic V2. Surprisingly, the brand has managed to reduce the thickness of the Magic V3 to 9.7mm despite packing a larger battery. Additionally, the V3 weighs only 226 grams.
Speaking of design, it’s official that the Magic V3 will come in four colors: black, brown, white, and green. The device boasts a metal frame for durability and an IPX8 rating for water resistance.
The rear camera setup of the Honor Magic V3 includes a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support. Uncertainty surrounds its ultrawide lens, but rumors suggest it boasts a periscope telephoto camera with a 3.5x optical zoom.
The Magic V3’s large battery is reportedly capable of 66W fast charging and wireless charging. Under the hood, the foldable phone will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. New leaks have revealed additional features such as an x-axis linear motor and support for satellite communication.
Nothing concrete is known about Magic Vs3. Speculation suggests that it might come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. It is expected to arrive in black, white, and green shades.
