According to a reliable insider on Weibo who goes by the name Digital Chat Station, Huawei has reportedly sold over 10 million units of the Mate 60 series by the end of June 2024. The figure encompasses sales of the standard Mate 60, Mate 60 Pro, and the premium RS Porsche Design variant.

Despite ongoing chip production limitations, Huawei appears to have achieved another sales milestone with the Mate 60 lineup. The company actively promoted the flagships through various marketing campaigns with temporary discounts, likely contributing to the strong sales performance.

Huawei’s loyal customer base has also played a role in the Mate 60’s success. The Pro model’s initial sales surge translated into continued momentum, with the series now reaching this new sales benchmark.

Huawei Mate 60 and Mate 60 Pro

The Huawei Mate 60 and Mate 60 Pro offer similar core specifications, with the primary difference lying in display size and battery capacity. Both phones boast large LTPO OLED displays with a variable refresh rate that can adjust between 1Hz and 120Hz to optimize battery life based on content.

The Mate 60 features a slightly smaller 6.69-inch display, while the Mate 60 Pro steps it up to a more expansive 6.82-inch viewing area.

At the heart of both phones lies the Kirin 9000S chipset, built on a 7nm process. Both phones are paired with 12GB of RAM, ensuring smooth multitasking and app switching. Storage options range from 256GB to a staggering 1TB, ample for your photos, videos, and app download needs.

The main rear camera on both models is a 50MP main sensor with a unique variable aperture that can adjust between f/1.4 and f/4.0. The other two lenses on the Mate 60 is a 12MP periscope lens and a 12MP ultrawide lens, while the Mate 60 Pro features the same ultrawide lens but upgrades the periscope lens to 48MP. Both phones have a 13MP front-facing camera.

Despite the larger display, the Mate 60 Pro comes equipped with a slightly smaller 4750mAh battery compared to the Mate 60’s 5000mAh battery. However, both phones support 88W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ and RS Ultimate Design

The Mate 60 Pro+ has display specs similar to the Pro model and also features a 13MP front camera and a 3D depth camera for secure face recognition.

The Pro+ boasts a more advanced rear camera setup, featuring a 48MP primary camera with f/1.4-f/4.0 variable aperture, a 40MP ultrawide camera, and a 48MP ultra-macro telephoto camera. It comes pre-loaded with the latest HarmonyOS 4.0 and packs a powerful punch with 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.

The Mate 60 Pro+ offers unique features like two-way satellite communication and 20W wireless reverse charging. Both the Mate 60 Pro and Pro+ support two-way text messaging over the Beiduo network.

The RS Ultimate Design offers the same powerful specs as the Mate 60 Pro+ but with a luxurious ceramic body and a unique design.
