The AYANEO Pocket EVO Android handheld game console has been announced, and as per the specs released, it builds upon the design language of the AYANEO 2 and 2S, offering a slim body (exact thickness unknown) and lightweight construction (around 400 grams, estimated). It boasts a 7-inch 1080p OLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a borderless full-screen design for immersive gameplay.

The handheld will also have an 8000mAh+ battery

Under the hood, the Pocket EVO packs the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon G3x Gen 2 processor, kept cool by a 15W active cooling system. For precise control, it introduces itself as the “industry’s first Android handheld equipped with a large Hall joystick” and utilizes a diagonal button layout. Gamers can expect a familiar and satisfying rumble thanks to the inclusion of an HD vibration motor on par with the Nintendo Switch and ROG Ally. Powering through extended gaming sessions is a large battery exceeding 8000mAh.

On the software side, the Pocket EVO comes pre-installed with the AYAHome desktop launcher and AYASpace management software. This software suite empowers users with customization options like performance mode adjustments, device camouflage for discretion, game library management optimization, and button mapping fine-tuning for a personalized gaming experience.
