Oppo today launched the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro in India, the latest additions to its popular Reno series. Both phones are 5G-enabled and focus on features like advanced AI capabilities and sleek design. Let’s walk through its specifications and pricing details here.
Oppo Reno 12 and Reno 12 Price in India and Availability
The Reno 12 5G is priced at Rs 32,999 for the sole 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. It will be available from Oppo’s website, Flipkart, and other retail stores starting July 25th in Sunset Peach, Matte Brown, and Astro Silver colors.
The Reno 12 Pro starts at Rs 36,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, with a 12GB RAM and 512GB storage option priced at Rs 40,999. The Pro model is going on sale early from July 18 through Oppo’s website, Flipkart, and other retail stores. You can purchase it in Space Brown and Sunset Gold colors.
Additionally, Oppo is offering launch discounts, including up to Rs 4,000 instant cashback and 9-month no-cost EMI options.
Specifications
Both phones share a large 6.7-inch OLED FHD+ curved Infinite View Display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1200 nits peak brightness, HDR10+ support, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protects the display on the Pro model vs Gorilla Glass 7i on the vanilla.
For durability, the series includes All-Round Armour protection, enhancing resistance to drops and impacts. The High-Strength Alloy Framework, made from metals like copper, magnesium, and silicon, provides a sturdy and corrosion-resistant build that meets aerospace quality standards. Both devices have an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.

Under the hood, the Reno 12 phones house a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300- Energy processor with Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. The software is Android 14 with ColorOS 14 on top and Oppo has promised three years of platform and four years of security updates for both the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro.
The camera system is a highlight of both phones. The Reno 12 Pro features a triple-lens rear setup with a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 50MP telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom and up to 20x digital zoom.
The Reno 12 has a similar setup but replaces the Pro’s telephoto camera with a 2MP macro camera for shots as close as 4cm. The front cameras also differ, with the Reno 12 featuring a 32MP lens and the 12 Pro equipped with a 50MP sensor.

Oppo has also included various AI-powered camera features. There’s AI Eraser 2.0 allows for the removal of unwanted objects from photos, while AI Clear Face enhances group shots and AI Best Face automatically fixes closed eyes. Additional features include AI Smart Image Matting 2.0 for creative photo editing and AI Studio for adding backgrounds and creating unique group shots.
Both phones have a 5000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging for rapid charging times. Other features include dual speakers, an IR blaster, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
