The Edifier STAX SPIRIT S10 magnetic planar wireless earphones have been released in China. The new Edifier audio device is equipped with a Qualcomm QCC5181 chip and a 12mm diameter planar unit. It uses EqualMass patented wiring technology and comes in a catchy black design.

The STAX Spirit S10 has a flat diaphragm with a thickness of approximately 10 micrometers. It has an integrated flat speaker unit with the specified 12mm diameter. The design, according to Edifier, delivers a wide sound range, efficient energy conversion, and fast response. One of the highlights of the STAX SPIRIT S10 is its second-generation Qualcomm QCC5181 chip platform. The chip comes with improvements in sound quality, calls, and noise reduction above its predecessor chip, the QC5151. The model supports Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity and adaptive active noise reduction.
The STAX SPIRIT S10 has the Hi-Res Gold Lable certification and supports high-definition codecs including LDAC, LHDC 5.0, aptX Adaptive, and up to 96kHz @ 24bit format. Three microphones are features in the headphone and it supports Qualcomm aptX Voice 3-microphone calls. It has a built-in echo cancellation and noise suppression (ECNS) mechanism. The Edifier STAX SPIRIT S10 is compatible with the Edifier Connect mobile application and supports several functions like switching EQ sound effects, finding the headphones, and customizing the pinch function. You can also use the app to adjust the prompt tone volume, change the headphone name, and set the shutdown time.
The model features a gaming mode with a delay of about 0.089 seconds and supports fast charging. The Edifier STAX SPIRIT S10 has a battery life of 28 hours which can be rapidly recharged. The product is currently available for purchase from retail platforms in China including JD.com. The retail price of the Edifier STAX SPIRIT S10 is 1,999 yuan ($275).
