OnePlus has released the new 12R in a brand new color option in India. The OnePlus 12R was previously released in a Cool Blue and an Iron Gray variant. Now, the OnePlus 12R is available in a shiny Sunset Dune edition in the region.

The Chinese smartphone maker has released the Sunset Edition in a lone 8GB + 256GB option. It has a price tag of 42,999 INR (roughly 515 US Dollars) with its first sale set to kick off on 20th July 2024 during the Amazon Prime Day Sale. There is also a special launch offer with an instant 3,000 INR bank discount for ICICI and OneCard Credit cards and EMI transitions. Buyers can also get a free pair of OnePlus Buds 3 with the new OnePlus 12R Sunset Dune.

A large 5,500mAh battery pack powers the OnePlus 12R, which supports 100W wired fast charging. In just 26 minutes, the device can charge from 1 to 100 percent. Other notable features include stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.3, an Aluminum frame, an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, Android 14 OS based Oxygen OS 14 custom skin out of the box, and up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness.
Apart from the new hue, which blends soft gold and light pink, the Sunset Dune edition packs identical specs as the other two options. So, it also sports a tall 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, and HDR10+ support. Under the hood, the smartphone is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. For optics, you get a 50-megapixel triple camera setup on the back, while the front houses a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.
