Beats by Dr. Dre has partnered with Minecraft to release a special edition of its Solo 4 headphones in celebration of the game’s 15th anniversary. Featuring a unique Minecraft-themed design with neon green accents and pixelated patterns, the headphones retain the audio capabilities of the standard Solo 4 model.

Even the storage case gets its own customized design

The Minecraft aesthetic extends to the included storage case, which also incorporates the game’s iconic elements. Purchasers of the limited edition headphones will receive a redemption code for in-game headphone character creator items.

Offering Bluetooth, USB-C wired, and 3.5mm wired connectivity options, the Solo 4 delivers up to 50 hours of battery life on a single charge and supports personalized spatial audio. The headphones are compatible with both iOS and Android devices and offer features like one-click pairing, iCloud/Google account-based device setup, and Siri voice activation for iOS users.

To complement the product launch, Beats and Minecraft have released a promotional animated short film featuring Imagine Dragons’ “Wake Up” and a curated Spatial Audio playlist on Apple Music. A special event celebrating the collaboration will be held at the Apple Fifth Avenue store on July 18.

The Beats x Minecraft Special Edition Solo 4 headphones are priced at $199.99 and will be available for purchase starting July 18 from Apple, Target, and EE.
