Hisense launched the 100″ Starlight S1 laser TV back in March for 19,999 yuan. Now the company has unveiled the Starlight S1 Pure Enjoyment Edition, which also offers a 100″ 4K screen. The TV is currently also available for pre-order in China.
The product is projected to offer an excellent viewing experience with nearly accurate colors. For audio, the TV equips an independent speaker with 360° omnidirectional sound output.

The Starlight S1 Pure Enjoyment Edition reportedly uses the same technology as IMAX cinemas, which is used by 90% of cinemas around the world. The TV offers IMAX’s unique 1.9:1 output and shows good texture with a 99% DCI-P3 “movie-level” color gamut, which provides a good visual experience. This reportedly looks brighter and more vivid with richer colors as compared to most LCD TVs.
Speaking of the listening experience, the Starlight S1 Pure Enjoyment Edition comes with two built-in speakers, that reflect the sound from the roof in order to offer a more immersive experience. There are two additional “bionic front sound” units that fire the audio directly at the user. With the setup, the product is claimed to offer an “unparalleled sense of immersion”.
The viewing distance of Hisense Starlight S1 Pure Enjoyment Edition is also claimed to be only 50% of that of a traditional TV. The display panel is also claimed to be eye-friendly. In conclusion, the product could be a great collection of people who want to have a theater-like experience at home.
According to the market research firm Omdia, the company’s shipments of large-screen TVs above 100 inches ranked first in the world in the high-end large-screen TV market.
