Segway has unveiled two new electric two-wheelers during its July 18 launch event. They are the Segway ZT3 Pro electric scooter and the Xyber electric bike. The ZT3 Pro is designed for urban use while the Xyber is well-suited for off-road movement. The models come with an affordable price tag that is bound to stimulate demand for the products.

The Segway ZT3 Pro has a range of 40km while the Xyber has an extended range of 105km for off-road navigation. Both new two-wheelers come with adjustable suspension and several smart features. Both models feature keyless unlocking and are compatible with OTA upgrades. The ZT3 Pro is equipped with a 650W motor with three speed modes and it has a top speed of 32km/h.

The model is equipped with a front disc brake, rear disc brake, and electronic braking assistance. The ZT3 Pro uses 11-inch vacuum tires and it weighs 29kg. The e-scooter can support loads of up to 120kg. It has a 3-inch instrument panel for viewing ride information on the go.

The Segway Xyber electric bike is designed for biking in more challenging situations. It has a 400W brushless motor and 48V 30Ah lithium battery. It has double plate front shock absorption and a five-stage adjustable central rear shock setup. It also has front and rear disc brakes for excellent control of the bike. A 2.4-inch full-color display panel provides the rider with vital ride information.
Pricing & Availability
The Segway ZT3 pro electric scooter has a 3,399 yuan ($468) starting price. The Xyber on the other hand is more expensive than the ZT3 Pro and starts at 9,999 yuan ($1,378).
