Xiaomi has pulled the wraps off the ultimate iteration of its SU7 electric car – the SU7 Ultra. Built with pure performance and track dominance in mind, the SU7 Ultra sets its sights on shattering lap time records.
The car will have ultra-fast charging and a track-optimized braking system.
The SU7 Ultra boasts too-good-to-be-true specs. Its Xiaomi V8s electric motors unleash a combined 1548 horsepower, taking the car from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 1.97 seconds and achieving a top speed that surpasses 350 km/h.

Powering this beast is the world’s first CATL Kirin II battery, engineered for both ultra-fast charging and exceptional power delivery. The SU7 Ultra also features a track-optimized braking system capable of bringing the car to a complete stop from 100 km/h in just 25 meters.
Xiaomi has shaved weight off the SU7 Ultra by extensively incorporating carbon fiber materials throughout the car. This aggressive weight reduction brings the car’s total weight to a remarkable 1900kg. The SU7 Ultra’s aerodynamic design prioritizes downforce generation, achieving a level that even surpasses the car’s own weight.
With these phenomenal capabilities, Xiaomi plans to challenge lap times set by non-mass produced cars in October 2024. They have set their sights even higher for 2025, aiming to conquer the Nürburgring mass production car lap time list.
