Edifier has launched the W800BT Free headphones, a new on-ear option for budget-conscious listeners. While lacking noise-cancellation features, the W800BT Free prioritizes affordability and long battery life.

The headphones will also support AI-powered call noise reduction

The W800BT Free boasts 40mm titanium-plated dynamic drivers for clear audio reproduction. Edifier also includes four pre-sets for customizing the sound profile (classic, pop, classical, rock). Soft leather earmuffs with an 8-degree tilt provide a comfortable fit, while the U-shaped alloy headband ensures durability.

Edifier equips the W800BT Free with Bluetooth 5.4 for reliable wireless connectivity. The headphones also support AI-powered call noise reduction for clearer communication during calls. Gamers will appreciate the low-latency game mode with a claimed delay of just 0.06 seconds.

Perhaps the most attractive feature is the W800BT Free’s lengthy battery life. Edifier advertises up to 40 hours of playback on a single charge, making them ideal for extended listening sessions. The headphones also support multipoint connections, allowing you to pair them with two devices simultaneously.

For wired connectivity, the W800BT Free includes a Type-C charging port.

The Edifier W800BT Free launched at a price of 199 yuan (approximately $29 USD), making them a compelling option for budget-minded listeners seeking a balance between features and affordability.
