Alongside the launch of the POCO M6 Plus 5G, the Xiaomi sub-brand also announced a new TWS earphone. It is the second addition to POCO’s audio lineup and is dubbed the POCO Buds X1. They are an affordable offering under the Rs 2,000 price segment. The TWS earphones compete against the likes of Redmi, Realme, Noise, boAt, and more in the market. POCO Buds X1 specifications and features

The POCO Buds X1 has an in-ear design with a stem and silicone ear tips. They are IP54-rated water-resistant. The earbuds support touch controls for music playback and answering or rejecting calls by tapping on the stem.
In terms of audio, the POCO Buds X1 are equipped with a 12.4mm dynamic driver for powerful bass and crisp audio. The earbuds offer hybrid active noise cancellation up to 40dB. The transparency mode lets you stay aware of your surroundings. There is environmental noise cancellation and dual-mic AI noise cancellation for clear quality on calls. The TWS earphones also pack Xiaomi’s anti-wind noise algorithm to eliminate wind noise up to 6 m/s. They support SBC and AAC codecs. There are custom EQ modes along with standard, enhanced treble, enhanced voice, and enhanced bass.
The POCO Buds X1 come with Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and supports Google Fast Pair. Each earbud is backed by a 45mAh battery cell that are claimed to offer 7 and 4.5 hours of usage with ANC off and enabled respectively. With the charging and storage case, the battery life gets extended to 36 hours. They can be topped up via a USB-C port and are claimed to offer 2 hours of playback with 10 minutes of charging.
The POCO Buds X1 cost Rs 1,799 and are offered in a Titanium color. They can be purchased starting August 5 from Flipkart.
