Red Magic recently refreshed its flagship gaming smartphone with the launch of the Red Magic 9S Pro, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading version. It looks like the brand has similar plans for its gaming tablet, as tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed that the brand is working on its second-generation Red Magic Gaming tablet, which will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading version processor as well.

The tipster claims that the brand will debut this tablet around the end of August 2024. Contrary to the current trend of large-screen tablets, the successor of the Red Magic Gaming tablet will likely feature a smaller screen. For those unaware, the first generation tablet launched by the brand debuted in July 2023 with a 12.1-inch screen. It uses an LCD panel that has a resolution of 2.5K, and a 144Hz refresh rate. We can expect the upcoming tablet to feature a flat and boxy design.

Other details are still unknown, however, we can expect the tablet to feature a robust cooling system, with a large battery and fast charging. The first-generation tablet features a 10,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging.
In related news, Red Magic is set to launch its Titan 16 Pro gaming laptop globally, likely rebranding its China-exclusive Red Magic Gaming Laptop 16 Pro. The device features a 16-inch 2.5K display with a 240Hz refresh rate, Harman Kardon speakers, and a 1080p IR webcam. It’s powered by up to a 14th-gen Intel Core i9 processor, with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060/4070 GPU options.
