Toshiba‘s Yutu 2.0 Pro washing machine is now available on JD.com with a pre-sale price of 4,099 yuan, which is equivalent to US$570. This product can fit into a 600mm regular cabinet.

It uses a BLDC variable frequency motor, has a 10KG capacity, and comes with a 535mm barrel diameter. It also equips an upgraded multi-dimensional structural support that provides better shock absorption and enhances the stability of the machine body. According to the company, the machine can stay “as stable as a rock” even in high-speed washing mode.
Speaking of the cleaning process, this product uses UFB ultra-fine bubble technology, which according to a company official, can generate billions of microbubbles. The machine removes stubborn stains through bubble explosion and uses silver ions for secondary sterilization. It is reported that the machine offers an effective cleaning even with cold water.
The newly upgraded inner drum and front drum structure is reportedly designed to simulate an environment with sufficient cleaning force to remove dirt all while not damaging the delicate fibers, which ensures a longer life for the cloths. This product is also reportedly designed to remove pet hairs from clothing.
This machine automatically senses the weight and water volume of the inner drum and intelligently measures the amount that needs to be used. You can also control the cleaning process for different types of clothing from the smartphone app.
