Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 tablet in the global market after its initial launch in India.

The Redmi Pad SE 8.7 is a mid-range tablet designed for both entertainment and productivity. It features an 8.7-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 10-bit color depth. The tablet includes two reading modes, Paper and Classic, and has TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue light and flicker-free performance.
Powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 processor, the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 comes with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. It has a 6650mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. The tablet is equipped with an 8MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera, and dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, a 3.5mm headphone jack, FM radio, and a 4G variant with dual SIM support.
The tablet has a slim 8.8mm profile and weighs 373 grams. It comes with a cover featuring a leather shell, a metal rivet wristband, and adjustable viewing angles.
Pricing & availability
The Redmi Pad SE 8.7 is available in Graphite Gray, Aurora Green, and Sky Blue. Prices start at €139 for the Wi-Fi model and €179 for the 4G variant. Pre-orders are open, with an official launch on August 21.
