Motorola is developing another foldable smartphone to be released in 2025. The Gizmochina team has spotted a new device codenamed “Orion”. Motorola is trying to increase competition in the foldable smartphone sector.
Motorola Orion is coming
Motorola is developing a foldable smartphone, codenamed “Orion”, to be released in 2025. We can reveal the model number associated with the Orion: XT2551-3. Since the previous device with model number XT2451 was the Razr 50 Ultra, we think this new device could be the Razr 60 Ultra.
However, the market name of the device is not yet known. Furthermore, the “XT25” prefix confirms that the new smartphone will be released in 2025, thus cementing Orion’s place on Motorola’s future roadmap. It’s not yet known in which regions Motorola will offer the “Orion” model.
The Razr 50 Ultra featured a 6.9-inch foldable LTPO AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s gen 3 chipset, 50MP main camera, 32MP front camera and a 4000 mAh battery. We believe the new foldable smartphone will come with more advanced and improved features. However, the technical specifications of the new device are not yet known.
