Red Magic‘s upcoming gaming tablet, set to be fully unveiled on September 5 has just had many of its details confirmed. Through multiple posts on Weibo, Red Magic has confirmed that the device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version, ensuring top-tier performance that rivals the company’s flagship smartphone, the 9S Pro.

The tablet is equipped with a 2.8K resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate, and 840 Hz touch sampling rate. Another teaser confirms that the tablet features a four-channel linear speaker setup and supports DTS:X Ultra, providing an immersive audio experience.

To sustain the high performance of the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version processor and prevent any thermal throttling, Red Magic has also added the PAD Magic Cooling ICE 2.0 Nine-layer cooling system to the tablet, which uses a high-speed centrifugal fan, 3D internal circulation air duct, PC-level heat pipe, and various heat-dissipating materials.
For capturing photos and videos, the RedMagic gaming tablet features a 50 MP rear-facing camera and a 20 MP front-facing camera. Other details are still under wraps, however, these specs paint a pretty good picture of what we can expect from this upcoming gaming tablet.
