Honor has expanded its laptop lineup with the global rollout of the MagicBook Art 14 at IFA Berlin 2024, after its initial launch in China earlier this year. With a focus on combining high performance and innovative design, the MagicBook Art 14 represents Honor’s vision of AI-powered productivity in a lightweight form factor.

1. Specifications

The Honor MagicBook Art 14 features a stunning 14.6-inch 3.1K OLED touch display, offering a 3:2 aspect ratio, 3120 x 2080 resolution, 97% screen-to-body ratio, and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.

The screen also includes HDR support, 700 nits of peak brightness, and 4320Hz PWM dimming technology, ensuring eye protection by reducing flicker. It also includes E-Book Mode and Dynamic Dimming to enhance user comfort.

Under the hood, it is powered by Intel’s Core Ultra 5 (125H) or Core Ultra 7 (155H) processors paired with Intel Arc graphics, making it suitable for both creative professionals and regular users seeking a high-performance device.

Honor MagicBook Art 14

Honor hasn’t confirmed the storage variants yet. Based on Chinese specs, it may offer up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of SSD storage, providing ample memory and storage for multitasking and large data handling. It features a 60Wh battery that supports Honor Super Charge, offering quick charging capabilities, reaching 46% charge in 30 minutes and fully charged in 95 minutes.

The laptop is lightweight and slim, weighing around 1kg and measuring 10mm thick, featuring a Topology Lightweight Structure. It’s crafted from a magnesium alloy body with a titanium keyboard. The laptop runs on Windows 11 Home.

The MagicBook Art 14 features an ultra-thin cooling module with a VC design for efficient thermal management and low noise. It offers connectivity options like Thunderbolt 4, USB-C, USB-A, HDMI 2.1, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6, and NFC. The laptop also features the largest touchpad in 14-inch laptops.

2. Special Features

Honor has infused the MagicBook Art 14 with several AI-powered features that enhance productivity and usability. Through a collaboration with Microsoft, the laptop includes Copilot features like Intelligent Email Management, Real-time Transcription, and Data Visualization. Additionally, AI-driven OS Turbo 3.0 optimizes power consumption by analyzing user behavior, ensuring balanced performance and energy efficiency.

The laptop also shines in the audio department with Honor’s Spatial Audio Technology, delivering immersive sound via its six speakers with DTS support.

It also comes with AI-enhanced microphones that offer superior noise cancellation and sound capture, making it ideal for professional meetings and interviews. The laptop enhances user privacy with a “Smart Eye” magnetic camera, allowing users to physically cover it for added security.
