Apple has just launched the iPhone 16 series, with the starting price in the US set at $799 for the iPhone 16 and $999 for the iPhone 16 Pro series. Here’s a look at the pricing of the new iPhones for the Indian market in comparison to their US counterparts:

The comparison between the Indian and US pricing for the iPhone 16 series highlights a noticeable price disparity. Despite the higher prices, Indian consumers can benefit from various offers such as instant cashback, no-cost EMI, and trade-in options, making the new iPhones more accessible.
Comparing the iPhone 16 Pro series to last year’s iPhone 15 Pro series, there is a noticeable price reduction. For example, the iPhone 16 Pro starts at Rs 1,19,900 for the 128GB model, whereas the iPhone 15 Pro started at Rs 1,34,900 for the same storage variant. On the other hand, the 16 Pro Max begins at Rs 1,44,990, whereas the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s base model was priced at Rs 1,59,900. This trend of lower pricing continues across other models and storage options in the iPhone 16 Pro series.
iPhone 16 series availability in India
The color options for the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus models include Black, White, Pink, Teal, and Ultramarine. On the other hand, the Pro models come in Black Titanium, White Titanium, Natural Titanium, and Desert Titanium colors.
Pre-orders for the iPhone 16 series will start on Sept. 13, with availability beginning on Sept. 20. Buyers using American Express, Axis Bank, or ICICI Bank cards can avail up to Rs 5,000 instant cashback on any model of the iPhone 16 series. Other offers include 3 or 6 months of no-cost EMI options, Apple trade-in with discounts ranging from Rs 4,000 to Rs 67,500 on exchanging an existing phone, and three months of Apple Music, Apple TV+, and Apple Arcade for free. GST invoicing is also available for business users during checkout on the Apple website. Besides Apple’s website, the new iPhones will be sold through Flipkart, Amazon, and other online channels.
