Vivo has officially announced that it will launch its highly anticipated X200 series on October 14th in Beijing, China. As per reports, the series is expected to include the Vivo X200, X200+, and X200 Pro, all powered by MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 9400 chipset, a significant upgrade from the Dimensity 9300 found in the previous X100 series.

Vivo X200 series launch date

Vivo has seen strong growth in China’s high-end market, driven by iPhone users switching to its devices. To cater to these users, the Vivo X200 series will feature a flat-screen design similar to iPhones, making the transition easier.

The Vivo X200 will likely sport a 6.3-inch flat OLED LTPO display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, while the X200 Pro is rumored to come with a larger 6.7/6.8-inch micro-curved display, also boasting LTPO and 1.5K resolution.

In the camera department, the Vivo X200 could come equipped with a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a wide-angle lens, and a 70mm periscope telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom.

The X200 Pro is rumored to include a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens for advanced zooming capabilities.

The series is expected to run on the latest Origin OS 5, based on Android 15, providing a smooth user experience with enhanced AI features and personalized interactions.

Coming to battery life, the X200 is expected to house a 5,600mAh battery with 90W fast charging support, while the Pro variant could offer a larger 6,000mAh battery.

The Vivo X200 series will include advanced features such as a custom sensor, imaging chip, and chipset with Blue Crystal technology. The X200 will have an optical fingerprint sensor, while the X200 Pro may offer an ultra-sonic sensor. Both models are expected to have an IP68/69 rating for water and dust resistance.
