Redmi Note series: 420 million units sold

The Redmi Note series has achieved an impressive milestone, selling over 420 million units globally in its ten-year history. As part of the celebration, Redmi has revealed that the Note 14 series will be launched this month. To recall, the Note 13 series was announced in September 2023.
The upcoming Note series is expected to include three models: Redmi Note 14, Redmi Note 14 Pro, and Redmi Note 14 Pro+. The Pro models are said to be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 and Dimensity 7350, respectively.
As per reports, the Redmi Note 14 Pro series will feature a 1.5K curved display, marking Redmi’s first curved screen model this year, maintaining the design consistency seen in the previous Note 13 Pro+. Leaked renders indicate that the Pro series will sport a large centrally aligned triple camera setup with a design reminiscent of the Xiaomi logo and an overall aesthetic that leans towards high-end devices. The Pro models are expected to feature a 50-megapixel main camera.
Redmi’s executives have shared their insights on the new Note 14 series. Xiaomi China’s Marketing Deputy General Manager and Redmi General Manager, Wang Teng Thomas, noted that the new Note devices boast impressive durability and battery life, with an IP68 rating ensuring robust waterproof capabilities. Redmi’s Deputy General Manager, Zhang Yifan, added that the new devices offer a balanced user experience, excellent hand feel, and satisfactory battery performance.
There is no concrete information about the global launch of the Note 14 series. The global markets may probably receive it in the first quarter of 2025.
