Huawei today launched a new WiFi 7 router in China called the BE7. The device brings support for the recently standardized Wi-Fi 7 protocol at a very affordable price. Let’s go through its specifications here.
Huawei WiFi 7 BE7 router Specifications
The BE7 operates on the next-generation Wi-Fi 7 standard, offering a theoretical maximum speed of 6500Mbps – four to five times faster than its Wi-Fi 6 predecessors.
Beyond raw speed, Wi-Fi 7 empowers the BE7 with enhanced stability and reduced latency. The router boasts six times stronger anti-interference capabilities compared to Wi-Fi 6, ensuring a smoother and more efficient connection for multiple devices simultaneously.

The BE7 caters to both Wi-Fi 7 and existing Wi-Fi devices. It supports dual-band connectivity on 2.5GHz and 5GHz frequencies and for smartphones specifically, it has a “wireless dual Wi-Fi” function. This technology intelligently boosts signal strength for devices at medium or long distances.
Under the hood, the BE7 incorporates a 4K QAM (Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) module to improve data encoding efficiency. It also has an ultra-thin film antenna design similar to base stations, equipped with six signal amplifiers and a hurricane cooling system.
Gamers may find the BE7’s “Game Turbo Engine” particularly appealing. This feature intelligently identifies online games and prioritizes network traffic, minimizing lag and optimizing the gaming experience.
You can manage the router managed through the AI Life app. It lets you control network access for children, and configure security settings.

The BE7 runs on HarmonyOS 4.0, comes with 512MB of RAM and 128MB of internal storage, and supports various network protocols including 802.3, 802.3u, and 802.3ab. It offers three Wi-Fi modes: wall penetration, standard, and sleep, catering to different user needs. Finally, the BE7 features a WPS button for easy device connection.
Pricing and Availability
The Huawei BE7 Wi-Fi 7 router is currently available for pre-order on the Huawei Mall, priced at 599 yuan (approximately $83). Consumers can pre-pay in full from September 17th to 26th to place an order.
