Oppo has teased the front design of its upcoming flagship, the Find X8. The device is set to feature a symmetrical, square design with minimal bezels on all sides. This aesthetic choice aligns with the growing trend of smartphones adopting more rectangular shapes.

Here’s the first look of the Oppo Find X8

The Find X8 will also sport a centered punch-hole display for the front-facing camera. Additionally, with the new ColorOS 15 the device will include an on-screen flashlight and camera function buttons at the bottom of the lock screen.

However, with the new software and perfect square design the device looks exactly like the base model iPhones especially the iPhone 15. It looks like the “iPhone without the Dynamic Island.”

In terms of performance, the Find X8 is expected to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 chipset. This processor is expected to provide impressive performance and energy efficiency. The device will also feature a high-resolution display and a capable camera system.

Oppo has already revealed some key details about the Find X8. The device is said to be lighter, thinner, and smaller than its predecessor, while still offering a larger battery and a smaller camera bump. The company has also confirmed that the device will weigh less than 200 grams.

The Find X8 series is expected to include both a standard edition and a Pro model. The standard edition will likely feature a smaller display and a triple camera setup with a single periscope lens. The Pro model, on the other hand, is expected to have a larger display and a quad camera setup with dual periscope lenses.

While the Find X8 series is shaping up to be a promising flagship, there are some concerns about its performance. Recent benchmarks have shown that the Dimensity 9400 chipset may not be as powerful as some of its competitors. Despite this, the Find X8 Pro still offers a robust feature set, including a 16 GB RAM, Android 15, and a 50 MP main camera.

Oppo Find X8 series is anticipated to launch in mid-October, likely on October 21 in China. The series is also expected to launch in the global markets as well including India.
