OnePlus is reportedly working on the Ace 5 series of smartphones for the Chinese market. Reliable leaker Digital Chat Station claimed in a recent Weibo post that the Ace 5 lineup will be announced by late December or by early January in China. Today, the tipster took to Weibo again to leak the battery capacities of the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro smartphones.
OnePlus Ace 5 series battery capacities

In the above-shown Weibo post, DCS is seen talking about the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 (SM8750) and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (SM8650) phones from OnePlus. These are believed to be the upcoming OnePlus Ace 5 Pro and Ace 5 smartphones. The leak states that both smartphones are likely to feature a 6500mAh battery, with the maximum capacity currently set between 6,300-6,500mAh and a silicon content of around 10%±.
The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro and Ace 5 will support 100W dual-cell rapid charging. The Pro version’s telephoto lens is expected to use the JN1 sensor. Additionally, the series is expected to feature a ceramic build and a flat display.
The tipster previously claimed that the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro and Ace 5 will feature the BOE X2 display that offers a 1.5K resolution. The series is expected to come equipped with a right-angle metal middle frame for better durability.
For photography, both devices are expected to feature the Sony IMX9-series 50-megapixel primary camera with a large sensor size of 1/1.56 inches. Both phones are also expected to ship with ColorOS 15-based Android 15.
The company is currently concentrating on the OnePlus 13 launch. It is officially confirmed that the OP13 equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip will be announced in October.
